Old Trucks is an annual gathering of vintage Willys Jeep and Land Rover enthusiasts who get together to enjoy a weekend of offroad driving and exploring the wilderness. This year the event was held at Hluhluwe River Lodge and attracted 10 vehicles, the oldest was a 1946 Willys CJ 2a belonging to the founder of Old Trucks, the honourable Mr Roger Bepambuzi Gaisford. The evenings are hugely entertaining for everyone involved and this year saw several delicious  braai evenings with cold beer and old school films projected onto a sheet pinned to the wall of a boma. Great fun was had  and by popular demand the ‘Old Truckers’ will be back in 2013 for another good laugh and family fun weekend.
