Our new private guest house is finally open for bookings and we have received excellent reviews from the first 50 guests who have stayed in the house since December 2014 and January this year. Mkhulu’s House is named after the original owner of the house and translated from Zulu means ‘Grandpa’s House’ and pronounced “Mm-koo-loo’s “. The house is private and has its own entrance and parking area which is uncovered. It has a swimming pool and is surrounded by a manicured lawn which gives way to indigenous bush. The house has two entertainment areas offering protection from the prevailing wind. Accommodating just four guests in two en suite rooms the house is ideal for a family of four or two couples. A fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge opens onto a wooden deck with a remarkable view over the Hluhluwe River and floodplain beyond. Self cater or book a meal at the lodge which is just a two hundred meter walk through the bush.
